Tracking my Dietary Habits Visually

At the time I am writing this I currently weigh 189 lbs. Two years ago I weighed 162 lbs. I am 5'6", at both weights I am/were overweight. Hopefully by the start of August I will weigh around 175 lbs. I hope to accomplish this by losing ~2 lbs per week using a food scale, a calculator, myfitnesspal, and American guilt.

The guilt will be created by taking a picture of each meal, snack, and/or drink I have throughout the day (excluding water). Then uploading the picture to my instagram account. Why? Well I did this in the past and it was quite a strong psychological trick into seeing what I was eating for the past month. Justifying certain portions of food became hard when it looked like I was eating the same amount everyday (I had a lot of ground beef).

In the future I will add nutritional info for each meal or recipes, but for now you can follow my instagram user azemetre.
